Donna L. (Hern) Schiffhauer

SCHIFFHAUER- Donna L., 79, of Brownstown passed away March 31, 2024, at home surrounded by her family. Born May 5, 1944, in Johnstown to the late William and Joann (Swank) Hern. Preceded in death by parents; husband Robert J. Schiffhauer; sister Judith Vaughn; and numerous brother’s and sister's-in-law. Survived by children, Robert T, Gregory and wife Debbie (Jennings), Wendy, Michael, Jason and wife Amy (Naugle), Eric, Heidi and husband Bill Cover, Justin and fiancé Maddie Ferringer.  Also survived by grandchildren Joshua and wife Melissa (Corden), Joel and wife Marla (Fleegle), Alexis and husband Shawn, Alexandra, Abigail, Ethan, Ashton, Brenden, Iliana; great grandson Keith; great granddaughter’s, Elena and Charlotte; step grandchildren, Katelyn, Marissa, Haley, Madison, Sami, Jarrott; step great grandchildren, Braxton, Xander, Ryker, Karsen, Maddox, and Rowan; sister Cheryl Smith married to Bruce; sister-in-law Barbara, and numerous nieces and nephews. Donna was an amazing mother who dedicated her life to her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed her time most when surrounded by family. She also enjoyed playing pinochle with friends as a member of the Brownstown pinochle club, and she loved to spend time at the beach where she was her happiest. Donna was also a former member of the Brownstown Volunteer Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary. Funeral Service Mass will be held at St Michael’s Catholic Church in Brownstown, Saturday, April 6, 2024, at 10:00 am. A private committal will take place at Grandview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Donna’s honor to St. Michael’s Catholic Church.
